Buy a number one at a time or as a bundle, decide which workspaces can use it, and manage the pool once you have it.
Who can do this: anyone can buy a number, but only owners and managers can choose which workspaces it belongs to, or swap and delete numbers afterwards. If you are a rep, the number you buy inherits your own workspaces automatically and you will not see the Workspaces step at all.
Before you buy
Buying creates a charge against your organization's balance, so make sure there is one. See Review billing, credits, and usage.
Lead Hero sells numbers in the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands. Other countries are not available, and this is a hard limit rather than a matter of asking.
Buy a number
Open Phone Numbers and select Add phone number.
Under Number Configuration, choose the Country Code.
Choose the Area code. This field only appears for the US and Canada.
Under Workspaces, pick the workspaces that should have the number, or leave them all unchecked so every workspace can use it.
Leave every workspace unchecked to make the number available across the whole organization.
Review the Add-ons.

Each add-on shows its own upfront and monthly charge next to the toggle. Read them there rather than relying on a figure written down anywhere, including here.
Select Continue.
Check the number and the price, shown as an upfront charge plus a monthly one.
Select Confirm purchase.
Two things happen at this step that surprise people.
You may be offered a different number. If nothing was available in your area code, the dialog title changes to Suggested Phone Number and offers the closest match instead, with No thanks as the alternative. Read the number before confirming.
The new number takes a few seconds to show up. The page checks a handful of times after the purchase. If it is not there yet, wait a moment and reload before assuming the purchase failed.
Buy a bundle
Expand Number Bundles on the same page for five numbers from major cities at a discounted upfront rate. Select Buy bundle on a card and confirm.
Bundles discount the upfront cost only. The monthly cost per number is the same as buying them one at a time.
If an area code in a bundle has nothing free, Lead Hero substitutes the closest match. Bundles can also succeed partly: the confirmation reports each number separately, so read it rather than assuming all five arrived.
Manage the numbers you have
The Phone Numbers table shows the status, workspaces, daily usage, monthly cost, renew date, SMS state, Number Guard state, health badge, and cooldown for every number.
Every column can be shown, hidden, or reordered from the display controls.
Select one or more rows and the action bar offers Swap and Delete, both owner and manager only. Swapping replaces a number while keeping its workspace access, which is what you want when a number has been flagged as spam.
Your organization can hold up to 2000 numbers.
A note on SMS
Buying the SMS add-on does not give you outbound texting straight away. Numbers can receive messages immediately, but sending stays blocked until your 10DLC brand and campaign registration is complete. The Enable SMS dialog says so and links to your compliance settings. See Set up and use SMS.
When to contact support
Get in touch if:
A purchase shows an error.
A number you confirmed never appears, after reloading.
A number cannot be assigned to the workspace you expect.
A bundle reports failures you cannot explain.
