Check a list of numbers before you dial it, and read what came back.
Who can do this: anyone who can open Enrichment & Validation. Validation is usage-billed at the rate shown on the page.
Before you submit
The form states its own limits, and they are worth reading before you build the file:
US numbers only. Anything else is excluded from the job automatically rather than failing it.
A minimum and a maximum per upload. The current range is shown on the form.
Numbers you have already validated are skipped, so re-submitting a list you have run before costs less than it looks.
Processing takes business days, not minutes. This is not a step to run while someone waits.
Submit a job
Open Enrichment & Validation.
Select the Phone Validation tab.
Either drop a
.csvor.xlsxfile on the upload area, or paste numbers into or paste numbers.Decide whether to tick Save leads to organization when complete.
Select Submit for Validation.
Ticking Save leads to organization when complete writes the validated leads into your lead list with their dial status already set. Leaving it unticked gives you a downloadable result and changes nothing in Lead Hero.
Tick the save box when you are validating a list you intend to call from Lead Hero. Leave it unticked when you are checking a list for another system, or sampling a vendor's data before buying more of it.
Read the result
Finished jobs appear under Validation History.
Each row shows the file, the totals and what it cost. Valid against invalid is the number that tells you whether the list was worth buying.
Two downloads per job: Download All Results returns every number with its classification, and Download Valid Only returns the numbers worth keeping. Use the second one to rebuild a list, and the first when you need to show someone why a list was rejected.
A row that saved its results back into Lead Hero is tagged saves leads and shows a Leads imported count beside the totals.
A high invalid count is information, not a failure. It is the clearest signal you have that a list is stale, and it is cheaper to learn it here than by burning numbers and pickup rate on it.
What verification does not tell you
It classifies numbers using current data. It does not promise that a person will answer, that every classification is right, or that a campaign will hit a particular pickup rate.
Treat it as removing the numbers that were never going to work, not as a prediction of the ones that will.
When to contact support
Get in touch if a job stays incomplete well past the stated processing time, the download is missing, or the submitted and processed totals do not match. Include the file name shown in Validation History, how you submitted the numbers, and the totals on the row.
