Sign in, choose your organization and workspace, prepare a calling number, and add leads before your first calling session.

From signing in to your first call, and the four things that have to be in place before the dialer will work.

Before you start you need an account and access to an organization. If someone invited you, the invitation arrives by email and the organization also appears on your organizations page after you sign in.

Sign in and pick the organization

  1. Sign in at app.leadhero.io.

  2. Choose the organization you want to work in.

Everything in Lead Hero belongs to an organization: leads, numbers, billing and integrations. If you belong to more than one, check which you are in before you start calling.

Then check the workspace selector at the top of the sidebar. A workspace narrows what you see to one team's leads, folders, scripts and numbers, so being in the wrong one is the most common reason something you expect is missing.

The four things calling needs

The dialer stays quiet until all four hold. Checking them now saves working backwards from silence later:

  1. A seat. Without one you can open Leads but not call. An owner or manager assigns seats in Manage Members.

  2. An active phone number in your workspace. Open Phone Numbers to confirm. Numbers are shared per workspace, not per person.

  3. Leads with a phone number. A lead with no usable number is skipped.

  4. Microphone access in the browser. Your browser will ask the first time.

If any page you need is unavailable, it is almost always your role rather than a fault. Ask an owner or manager to check your role, seat and workspace access.

Get leads in

Three routes, depending on where your leads live now:

  • A spreadsheet. Open Leads, select Create lead, and use the Upload csv or xlsx tab.

  • A cold email tool. Connect it under Integrations, and replies land in Lead Hero automatically.

  • One at a time. The same Create lead dialog has a Manual Entry tab.

Make the first call

  1. Open Leads.

  2. Select a lead's row. The call module opens at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Check the number shown, then select Start call.

Selecting a row opens the call module at the bottom of the screen. It names the lead, shows the number it will dial, and tells you the local time where they are before you ring them. The green button starts the call.

To work through a list rather than one lead, open a folder's menu and start calling the folder. Lead Hero then dials through it and hands you each answered call.

Where to go next

When to contact support

Get in touch if you cannot open an organization you were invited to, cannot see a workspace an owner says you have, or cannot use a feature they believe is enabled. Include your account email, the organization, and the name of the page you cannot reach.
